The Instructional Designer is responsible for assisting in the development, maintenance, and evaluation of training programs and performance improvement tools through collaboration with peers and subject matter experts. This role will have the unique opportunity to assist with designing new learning programs to support both hourly positions and manager training in a modular, blended learning format to implement via Crunchtime TalentLink, our Learning Management System. The Instructional Designer will create various types of user training tools including facilitator, participant & rollout guides, teaching/job aids, storyboards for eLearning, and quick training videos. |

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create innovative, visual, job aids, participant materials, and facilitation guides for all hourly, management, director level, and above positions, using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, and Acrobat.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Collaborate with and interview subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to design, develop & maintain training/rollout materials as needed.
- Partner with subject matter experts to identify training needs through root cause and performance gap analysis.
- Clear and concise written and verbal skills.
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of the effectiveness of existing and newly created materials and programs.
- Develop storyboarding for eLearning and video content.
- Communicate and partner with vendors, contractors, and multi-media developers.
- Possesses strong organizational skills to assist in the administration of tasks related to collateral, learning management, and content management systems.
- Strong project planning skills and possesses the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate with key stakeholders and meet project deadlines.
- Supports the internal communications team as needed.
