Work and Perks

The Financial Analyst is a key contributor who will play an integral part in understanding and maximizing financial and operational efficiencies. In this role, the Financial Analyst will develop, prepare, and analyze data and reports to help the company understand trends and impacts.

 

 

  • Prepares routine to complex financial analysis such as sales trends, financial and expense performance, return on investment, and other business investment opportunities.
  • Provide data analysis to determine the financial impact of proposed business initiatives.
  • Assist with annual Budget preparation, supporting key restaurant level expenses such as wages, salaries, supplies, and repairs/maintenance.
  • Support our Off-Premise business, monitoring trends, partnering cross-functionally to best support sales growth, and providing insights around all financial aspects of our Off-Premise channels.
  • Prepare presentation ready materials containing both financial and operational metrics that focus on identifying drivers of performance.
  • Leverage Technology to support automation of reporting and improve access to information that guides the decision making of key business partners.
  • Participates in meetings providing analysis that recognizes both successes and opportunities.
  • Performs ad-hoc reporting, special projects, and other department support as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Ability to analyze restaurant P&L and performance data, analyze and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Convey a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectations; persist despite obstacles and setbacks; achieve set goals and deadlines; work as a partner to all stakeholders to promote efficiency.
  • Thirst for knowledge with the ability to probe for additional information to gain a greater understanding of the problem.
  • A high EQ individual capable of effective communication and the ability to translate complex business requirements to a non-technical audience clearly and concisely.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
  • Restaurant or multi-unit retail experience in a financial planning and analysis position, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
